  18. <p>     Not all the tennis excitement this week is taking place in
  19. Flushing Meadows, N.Y. Forgoing the sweaty action at the U.S.
  20. Open, 28 players are vying for their own title at a club
  21. outside Boston: the national men's 85-plus grass-court
  22. championship. Organizer and competitor Jim Rogers says the
  23. category was created for players who were having trouble
  24. keeping up with the 80-year-olds. "We still have the same
  25. shots. The only difference is that they can scramble around the
  26. court better than we can," explains Rogers, 89, who only got
  27. serious about the sport in his 40s.
